Say what you will about today's modern age Brutus, but he would never do this. Brutus may be a kiss-ass but not in this way. Modern age Brutus probably wouldn't understand Veeblefester's jokes to fake laugh anyway.
We are doing way too much with this constructive criticism stuff. It's been one comic a week for the last four weeks. You can't lump these together and just do a week-long storyline about constructive criticism?
