Can't a guy just stick his finger inside a tree without getting a biology lesson? Apex Doob is quick! Off-panel before the water? Sap? hits Brutus in the face.
If it's fish and chips then the fish should be cod. I rarely see fish and chips with any fish other than cod. Most fish has a very distinctive taste so that Brutus can't place it is very disturbing.
