You can tell the time period by the doctor suggesting that Brutus
go back to smoking. How about chewing gum or eating more fruit or buying popsicles? Just don't chew on the stick.
You would think the doctor would be more concerned that a human got a disease that only affects trees. Actually, seeing how we handle diseases now, the doctor made the right decision.
