I don't understand anything about today's strip. I know what all these words mean but I don't understand why anyone would want to do any of it. Someone in the comments of today's strip said today was historic because it's the earliest season opener ever, all the teams get to play, and it's on a Thursday. None of that is historic just like no one gives two poops about when they moved the Super Bowl to a week later.
