So I am assuming that Hattie lives in some abandoned house down the street by herself since the Thornapples seem to care for her more than her own parents.
I'm wondering what Gladys used to make the lemonade that color of pink. Grenadine? Strawberry juice? Grape juice? Or good old fashioned blood?
