I've been hanging out with a coworker and her daughter a few times lately, and we went to a bookstore and she wanted nearly everything. I tried explaining that her birthday and Christmas are coming soon which she responds with "But I'm not going to get anything because I've been bad." Well, if you've been bad then why would you get something now?
