The Flintstones was a weekly series between 1960 and 1966. Flintstone Vitamins were introduced in 1968 so it's not like we went years between the series and the vitamins. The explanation also doesn't make sense as Uncle Ted was clearly born circa 1947 and would remember both the series and the vitamins and it's frustrating that he doesn't just admit it.
