There used to be a time in America when employees were treated with respect. The longer you spent at a company, the more respect you got, and that company usually tried to make sure they kept you. Nowadays, you want to leave? Fine. We'll just get someone to replace you and they'll work for less money. Oh, you worked for our company for 40 years and are retiring, maybe you'll get a pension or some sort of compensation for your many years of service or maybe not. Eat farts.
