Did Art and Isabel (his wife we never seem to mention) honeymoon in
Pacific Grove, California? Brutus and Gladys at least did. Unless Bide-A-Wee Lodge was once a chain across the country. I'm sure their stay in the upstairs room at Bide-A-Wee Gas, Apex Doob proprietor, will be just fine with chewy cheese sandwiches, poorly functional beds, and being lulled to sleep by the constant train traffic on the tracks just behind the building.
Sigh...Ok...
I hope Brutus and Gladys need a tire fixed. Apex seems really proud of his tire-fixing ability.
