Russell Johnson, best known for his portrayal of Dr. Roy "The Professor" Hinkley on Gilligan's Island,
has passed away at the age of 89. Johnson also appeared in numerous television and movie roles, both big and small, for four decades. His death leaves Tina Louise and Dawn Wells as the only surviving cast members of
Gilligan's Island.
