Guy With a Bandana

More boob on face action in our future? And what's Jane's idea? More talk of breasts? I'm all for it.

Why is the trashman flailing his arms around like that? I sometimes think they do the art months in advance then just paste the joke in the panel sometimes leaving the art looking like it doesn't match up with the words. I've seen it in Beetle Bailey too so it must be a Mort Walker trait.

That's a very detailed comic book cover in today's Nancy. I'm glad to see that Nancy and Sluggo read DC Comics and not those dreadful Marvel ones.

Trifecta? I Don't Know Ya.

I've been searching for years for the perfect epitaph for my tombstone. And now I found it. Thank you, Boy On a Stick and Slither!

Methinks the father/coach is abusive and treats the girl like crap so it's up to Mary and her meddling to smooth things out and bring father and daughter together again.

What kind of sound effect is "SLUUUUUD"? Not that I don't like it, or the panel layout, but it's just kind of weird.

I used to work for "Bombast" and it was not fun. I wonder if Sluggo will be able to watch TV after the digital conversion.

Love the chair, though.

"Mock election", I thought that they were going to go for a joke about the 2000 election. Hee hee, hanging chad.

The word jowls are not used as much as they should be in English lexicon. Whenever I think of jowls I picture Nixon or McCain. I don't notice jowls on anyone else though.

The first drawing of Oop made by kids for the 75th birthday. Here's to a whole week of probably semi-decent artwork done by kids whose newspapers are too cheap to drop Alley Oop for something decent.

I know that feeling all too well......

Brutus is lucky that Veeblefester didn't do more than just pour water on his head. I wanted to kill him. Didn't you.

I'm Scared, Too

My name is Brian and I think I've been obsessing over the comic strip Jane's World too much lately.

Of course it's not my fault. Things like side-boobs are rarely inserted into the comics I normally read.

Believe it or not but I believe I've actually said something almost exactly along those lines at one point.

Brutus should know if his own wife is afraid of the water. Plus, I don't think a woman Gladys' size would even have a swimming suit because they would not go near the water all that much. Of course, I'm basing this on personal experience so maybe I'm a just a jerk.

Born Loser Title #183

Ok. I'm tired of this mall cop storyline in Drabble. Do mall cops really use segway scooters? Wouldn't those get in the way of the people shopping? Someone please enlighten me because I've never seen a--let's be serious here, mall security guard--on a scooter.

Nothing of note in this comic except that I want the dog. He's so cute and seems like he would be easy to take care of.

What? Boobs? I love boobs!! Just get that shirt out of the way!!

See Luann? Jane's World has the right idea...

So Wilberforce inherited Gladys' thyroid problem. How old is Wilberforce anyway? 8? 9?

Abosrbing the TV Radiation

Brain freeze my ass. That's a good old fashioned devil possessing if I ever saw one.

Oh my God! This is quite possibly the best comic strip in the papers. God bless United Features Syndicate for picking up this strip and giving it a chance.

Never give a homeless man/hobo/bum money because they may not spend it on something they need. Just buy them a sandwich from a nearby Jimmy Johns or something. Or a massive burrito from Chipotle.

I can't believe in a strip as decent as Over the Hedge they are still able to do a golf joke. What the hell?

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THIS STRIP??!!!

I hate people who clog up the legal system when they have no legitimate cause but somehow Bunnista seems to make it all right...

I wouldn't buy shoes from a place called Bubba's. And that's usually a standard deal: buy one pair, get one half price. How aboout buy one and get one free? Have you people not seen the BOGO commercials?
