What's Mother Gargle Got Against Charles Laughton?

I'm assuming Mother Gargle watched the 1939 version starring Charles Laughton and Maureen O'Hara. I don't care who stars in that story, everybody is ugly--Quasimodo, Frollo, the gargoyles. If someone wants to compare you to something in The Hunchback of Notre-Dame just turn around and leave.
