What in the world kind of grade school teaches about the Mayflower Compact? For those who don't know, the Mayflower Compact was a document written and signed aboard the
Mayflower that established the first government of the Plymouth Colony. It was written because the people aboard the
Mayflower who weren't escaping religious persecution said "Ain't no one the boss of us" and the Churchy McGees were like "Oh, yeah?"
Anyway, I looked it up and the Mayflower Compact isn't part of grade school curriculum. Middle school, yes. But not grade school.
